If you haven't clicked over to read a little bit more about the Got Sketch 101 Class, you need to do it right now!! After you read about it keep scrolling down on that site. Valerie Salmon posts weekly scrapbook sketches & samples! WOWZA! Remember, the class is over, but you can still sign up and get all the cool information I did until the end of August. It's definitely worth it!
The LEFT hand side was from a sketch from the Got Sketch 101 Class and the RIGHT side was me trying my best to balance it out. I am a TWO PAGE layout kind of girl, so given the pictures I had, it was a little tricky coming up with something that worked. The space on the RIGHT side where my watermark is, is where I will be journalling. Also, there is some space on the LEFT to journal next to the swirly bracket. The Ultrasound picture is mounted on a vellum envelope that I trimmed down just a little & inside are 2 more ultrasound pictures & my list of names we were thinking about naming "the baby"...we choose Madeline Frances. By the way, that's my husband's hand on my belly in the picture of me on the top right! He wasn't the type to feel my tummy all the time, so I treasure this picture...and also, since I wasn't as huge as a house yet, I actually really like this picture of me!
Supplies: Simply Scrappin' Kit: Special Delivery-Girl, On Board Lots of Letters, Blush Blossom, Apricot Appeal, & Mellow Moss Craft Ink Pad to smoosh on the Chipboard, River Rock Classic Ink, Live Your Dream Stamp Set--journalling lines (no longer available),Groovy Guava & River Rock Double Stitch Ribbon, 6x6 Vellum Envelope, Round Tab Punch, Photo Corners Punch, Corner Rounder--remove guide to make scallop edges---but you won't have to do that for long because Stampin' Up! has created a scallop edge punch that will be coming out in the BRAND NEW CATALOG in August!!
By the way, with the exception of additional textured cardstock, all the Double Sided Paper & Adhesive die-cuts are still from the original kit when I made the Special Delivery: Girl Flip Album WOW!! How cool is that! But, I'm getting pretty close to breaking down & opening my other Special Deliver-Girl Simply Scrappin' Kit. I just wanted to make the most out of it before I opened the other kit.
Here's a link you can click on to see ALL of Stampin' Up!'s Simply Scrappin' Kits...be sure to turn the page to see all of them. Several of these Simply Scrappin' Kits and the Designer Series Papers have "In Colors" in them. The current 6 "In Colors" will be retiring with this catalog, but since these are accessory items, I have a feeling Stampin' Up!'s supply of these "In Color" items will not last long, so if ANY of these appeal to you, contact me (or your personal Stampin' Up! Demonstrator) to order these before they are gone!!
Have a Happy Day! Erin
PS...Thanks so much for the many sweet comments you all have been giving me over the past week! It's a great feeling to know other people have found inspiration in what I have made! Thanks a bunch!
