New Catalog Release Party & Upcoming Classes!!

I am SO EXCITED about all the fun stuff we will be making this fall!!  Christmas Cards, Clipboard Calendars, Scrapbook Pages & More!!  I've added a little link over there on the left for a full description of the classes & clubs I will be offering from now until Christmas!  (If you live in the greater Oklahoma City Area, I'd love to have you join me...I live in Choctaw...just 2 minutes off of I-40 at exit 166--Choctaw Road) And dont' think this post is all business...I've got some cute things to show you at the bottom of the post!

Here are my upcoming classes that are just around the corner!!

New Catalog Release Party--Tuesday, September 16th from 7-9pm at my house...email for directions.  I loved the wording I found on Becky Robert's blog for her New Catalog Release Party, so I am blatantly going to use it:  Come HEAR all about the new Stampin’ Up! Accessories, be the first to TOUCH the brand new stamps, Sizzix BIG SHOT, papers, and inks by making a couple of wonderful projects, SMELL those NEW pages of the 2008 Fall-Winter Idea Book & Catalog, SEE the creative samples & possibilities of all the things you can make with Stampin’ Up!, all while enjoying TASTY snacks with stampin’ friends!  Sign up for my upcoming club & classes. **Please RSVP by Sunday, September 14th...this is a FREE event for YOU!!

Totally Sweet Scrappin' Club--Monday, September 22nd from 6:30-8:30pm  This is the last club meeting for this group of fun scrappers.  I will be starting my next club in October, but it's going to be a little differnt.  See the info below for the October Simply Scrappin' Club & then contact me ASAP if you'd like to be a part of this Club...I'm working on a long-distance option, so if this would appeal to you, let me know!

National Card Making Day Stamp-A-Stack--Saturday, October 4th from 9:30am-12:00pm OR 1:00pm-3:00pm OR both if you REALLY want to make LOTS of cards! RSVP with class fee due to me NO later than Saturday, September 20th...See my class schedule link over there in the left sidebar for FULL details.

Simply Scrappin’ Kit Club:  Pina Colada--Monday, October 27th from 6:30-9:00pm

I don't want this post to be ALL business, so here are a couple of the projects I made while I was at the Stampin' Up! Convention!!

This cool 8.5x8.5 sized scrapbook page is just so cute!  Of course, adding the picture of my little Maddy when she was just one month old sure adds to it cuteness factor!  This page will fit perfectly into Stampin' Up!'s brand NEW On Board 8.5x8.5 Chipboard Album.  The neat thing about these albums, is that you get to customize the outside to look like whatever you want it to be!!

We used the NEW Flight of the Butterfly Stamp Set, the NEW Flower Fusion Too, the NEW In Color Designer Buttons, the NEW Scallop Edge Punch, the NEW Rose Red Grosgrain Ribbon, & the NEW On Board Loads of Letters!!

So Saffron Poly Twill Ribbon

The bow was so easy.  We adhered a piece of ribbon across the front of the bag.  Then cut a piece of ribbon to 7 inches & taped the ends together with sticky strip to form a loop.  Next take a piece of ribbon cut to 3 inches & wrap around the center of the loop & adhere with sticky strip!  It's a snap!

And to be totally honest, I didn't get the other projects completed.  Yet another GASP!!  I was helping my sister-in-law, Christie, to get her projects done, too.  She had her 8 month old little boy there (my nephew!), so you know she wasn't going to get a whole lot done.  We were pretty pleased to get this much done!  I'll have to get my act together & finish the other projects...someday!
