Last Saturday I attended a baby shower for a friend from church who was expecting twin girls sometime in the next couple of weeks, bringing her total # of children to 5! So, I figured she probably wouldn't have much time to scrapbook once the babies are born. This is the first time I've made one of these Flip Album/Books. I first saw them on....can you guess? Patty Bennett's INSPIRING blog and she originally found the idea on Chiaki Haverstick's INFORMATIVE blog with a very nice step-by-step instruction guide.
I was inspired by Tracey's Corner of Creation for a majority of the placement of paper & embellishments. Since I made this for a set of twins, the two sides of the album are mirror images. I took quite of few photos, so be sure to check out the album in the sidebar to view all the pictures.
I thought I'd show you what it looked like open first, so that the individual pictures below would make sense.
Above: Cover has been opened to the Left.
Below: Open 4 Square page to the Right.
Below: Open (above) Apricot Page to the left to reveal "double door" page and 2nd Apricot page. (remember I made both sides as mirror images.)
Below: Open 2nd apricot page to the right to reveal center-back moss page and 2nd "double door" page.
Above: Left side "double door" opened. Remember Right side "double door" will be the mirror image. Check my album in the side bar for all pictures.
This last picture is the same as the first. Just wanted to put it in perspective again.
I hope you enjoyed the tour through my very first (and not the last) Flip Album/Book! Go pull out ANY Simply Scrappin' Kit & make your own!

PS...All supplies were from the Simply Scrappin' Kit: Special Delivery Girl. I did add the 2 squares of Whisper White & Groovy Guava for the photo mats. I cut up the DSP that had all the strips of different patterns on it.
Wow.. it's FABULOUS!! I totally need to copy it because I need a baby girl gift!! :) Thanks!
