Love You Much--Control Freaks' Swap

Simply Scrappin' Club--I Wish

In my efforts to catch up showing you my Simply Scrappin' Clubs, here are the pages we made in December using the "I Wish" Simply Scrappin' Kit.  This kit is also on the Retiring Accessories List!! You only have until January 18th to purchase this kit!!!  (as well as all the other retiring stamp sets & accessories!)

Pages 1 & 2:  These pages were inspired from a Scrapbook Idea Book called "Cherish" that I got at Michaels.  I created another page using this layout awhile back, & you can find it HERE. (It's the "So This Is Love" layout.)

 

Pages 3 & 4:  These pages were inspired from an online class called "Got Sketch 101".  I also made pages based off of this layout for my daughter Madeline's album.  You can find it HERE.  I love finding a sketch for a layout that I can use again & again!!  It's not like these pages will be back to back or even in the same album!

 

Pages 5 & 6:  These pages were oringinally inspired by these pages by cchannel.  I'm not sure where I got these pages, so if this is your idea, let me know so I can give you proper credit:

 

 Pages 7 & 8:  These pages were inspired from a variety of different pages.

Simply Scrappin' Club--Summer Home & Winter Retreat

For my November Simply Scrappin' Club (Wow!  Where does the time go?), the club members could pick either the Summer Home or Winter Retreat Simply Scrappin' Kits.  I kind of hesitate to show these since they were on the Retiring Accessories List & I think they are SOLD OUT already!!  EEK!! But, here are the pages we made.  Sorry there aren't any pictures on them yet!!  I've posted the Summer Retreat Pages first; followed immediately by it's Winter Retreat companion.

Pages 1 & 2--inspired by the product insert with the Summer Home/Winter Retreat SSK.

     

Pages 3 & 4--These pages I was fortunate enough to get as a class planner from Heather.  You can get the class planner yourself right HERE.  She makes it sooo easy!

   

Pages 5 & 6--These pages were also from Heather's Class Plannner!

   

The title "my life as mom" came from the adhesive die cuts that came with the kit, but you would see them as "family" and "memories" on the sheet...sometimes you just gotta think outside the box!

Pages 7 & 8--These pages were inspired by Heather, but didn't really end up looking like her pages too much.

   

I hope you enjoyed these pages & that they will inspire you to pull out your Simply Scrappin' Kits to make some pages.  These pages would definitely be easy to duplicate with any of Stampin' Up!'s Simply Scrappin' Kits or by using your favorite Designer Series Paper & stamps!

By the way, I made sure to ask Heather's permission to post these!  Be sure to check out her class planners HERE .  For just a few dollars, you save LOTS OF TIME in trying to come up with some GREAT IDEAS for scrapbooking!!

Steven, Love You Much!!

 

On December 10th, my dear hubby & I celebrated our 14th Wedding Anniversary!  Thankfully we have had more better than worse and we still love each other lots...and frankly, who else would put up with this stampin' & scrappin' addiction?  :)  This is the Anniversary card/gift that I made for him.  I was inspired to make this from a similar idea that was on the cover of the November 2008 Stampin' Success--the cool monthly magazine Stampin' Up! Demonstrators get that is jam-packed with cool ideas.  Stampin' Up! had made a Thankful booklet like this.  I'll show you some of the pages that I put inside.  Just remember to think, "After 14 years, I still..." as you look at each page.
