I love the Sunshine Garden Simply Scrappin' Kit, so a couple of weeks ago, I had my Sunshine Garden Stamp Camp! With a sheet of "adhesive die cuts" and a 12x12 sheet of DSP from the kit (and other assorted cardstock 7 ribbon), each attendee made 3 cards, a hodgepodge hardware book mark, an altered jumbo clothespin and decorated one of Stampin' Up!'s 5x5 Art Journals.
Here are the cards we made:
The Baja Blue "hi" card was my own creation...I think?! I couldn't find anything in my files from which I would have CASED this, so it must be mine.
The So Saffron "for you" card was inspired by Michelle Huff over HERE.
The Old Olive "friend" card was an almost exact CASE from Alyson Schilling over HERE.

We used the Love Sparkles Simply Scrappin' Kit at my February Club. I'm REALLY behind on my youngest daughter's scrapbook (okay, I'm really behind on all my kids' scrapbooks), so I decided to mainly use pictures from her first month or two of life (she is now in month 43!!) In the last set of pages, I wanted to show that you can make "boy" pages from a "girl" kit...Enjoy!!

I was inspired to make the above pages by Alesha Walls' "Crew Kids--Girls" page HERE.
I know I gleaned this idea from somewhere, but for the life of me, I can't find it, so if this design looks somewhat familiar to you, PLEASE let me know, so I can give proper credit!
Believe it or not, I think I actually came up with this "difficult" layout all by myself! I LOVE these pictures of my little boy searching for & blowing on the dandelions! So Sweet!

Do you remember the "Season of Thanks" and the "Countdown to Christmas" artwork I made? Well, I had them hanging in the same spot on my wall in my kitchen/dining room, and I needed to find something else to hang there, but I just couldn't figure out what to do! I knew I wanted it to be something with Stampin' Up! and most likely using the something from their Decor Elements line. Since we are renting our current home, I didn't want to put something on the wall, I wanted something I could hang & change up for the seasons...with the exception of Thanksgiving & Christmas since I already had something for those holidays. So, here's what I came up with!
I am SOOOOO EXCITED about this!! I JUST LOVE IT!! Okay, that's enough bragging about what I've made, but I just can't contain myself!
Here are the details:
1. Frame is 16x20 & Dark Brown. I got it from Hobby Lobby when their frames were 50% off...they are almost always 50% off!! :)
2. The "Serve The Lord" Decor Elements from Stampin' Up! is Medium Sized & Chocolate in color and is applied to the top of the glass pane. (I also purchased the White "Serve the Lord" Decor Element to use on the extra pane of glass I had leftover when I made the Countdown to Christmas Calendar....didn't use the glass. So when I choose to use a darker DSP, I can just switch out the glass panes!! Brilliant, I know!! :)
3. Measurements: On the top, I used the "Spring Fling DSP" (which is now retired). I used one whole 12x12 piece and one 12x8 piece. I used Hermafix & attached it to the white paper that came as the insert in the frame. On the bottom, I also used the "Spring Fling DSP". I used one piece that was 4x12 and one piece that was 4x8.
4. The Ribbon is actually on top of the glass. I thought it helped to add some texture. I used the So Saffron Twill Tape and the Certainly Celery Twill tape.
5. Something's Missing...I still feel like it needs something else, but I can't quite decide what that little something is. Does it need a bow? Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think?
I ended up choosing the Spring Fling DSP because I made this sign last year & I wanted to have a more coordinated look.

Continuing the photos of the Grandparent's album I made & started posting yesterday:
I've got one more set of pictures to show you to finish up the pages from the 6x6 albums I made for the grandparents. Happy Day!! Erin
One of my on-going quests is to provide the grandparents with a mini album every year of their delightful grandchildren. As you can tell by my title, I am not that great at keeping up to date on it seeing that I gave them the 2006 album for Christmas 2008. I actually do have the 2007 and 2008 photos currently printed AND I am working on the 2007 album...I had hoped to give it to them for Valentine's Day, but that didn't happen...oh, well...it will get done! I WILL get both the 2007 & 2008 album's to them BEFORE the year ends!! Since I'm making 2 albums, I keep the pages VERY SIMPLE!! ISince there are quite a few pages, I'm going to spread them out over the next couple of days. On with the show:

One of my very good friends, Renee, & her family are getting ready to embark on a grand adventure...moving to Australia!! Renee is originally from Australia, but has been living in the U.S.A. for the past 8-9 years and now it's time to go HOME! I hadn't seen Renee in a number of years because both our husbands are in the Air Force, so when I found out she was moving, I hopped on a plane & spent a fun-filled weekend with her & her family!
I just had to make her a little something to put pictures of her American friends in, so she wouldn't forget about us! I used Stampin' Up!'s UR Sweet Simply Scrappin' Kit (now retired, but you can get the 2 Sweet Simply Scrappin' Kit...it has the same paper & die-cut adhesive patterns, but in a different color scheme). I left the ribbons on the side kind of long, so that as she added photos & the album started bulking up, she could loosen the ribbons.
This is very similar to an album I made for myself & two of my other girlfriends, which you can see HERE and HERE. I hope you have a stellar day!! Erin
I used the NEW Raspberry Tart Designer Series Paper to spruce up my Vinyl DSP Bag for spring! I've received lots of "oohs & aahs" from those who have seen it. I typically only use in on Sunday's & Wednesday's when I have to carry a lot to church.
Just wanted you to be able to see what I did with the inside...pretty exciting, huh? When I re-made it for Christmas, I took out the stiff card board side pieces to give the purse a little bit of flexibility & to lighten my load a little bit. Now I just adhere the DSP & the cardstock to a piece of the white "board" that comes in the back DSP packs.
